Sequential Analysis Calculations

For a general procedure of the different steps in running an analysis (Collect Elements, Collect Inputs, Run, Publish), see the \ topics under Server & Client.. The actions performed by Sequential Analysis rule for each step configured in the sequence according to the sequence number are described by the following:

• Loading Step Analysis and Specific Configuration - Load the sequence step and initialize it according to the configuration string.
• Execute the Actions of the Analysis - Execute the actions defined for the steps according to user’s configuration
• Error Code Management - Manage the exit error-code according to the step user’s configuration

The principles and definitions of the Sequential Analysis are described in detail within the next sections.

Note: The Sequential Execution Analysis Rule does not work when there are no steps defined. The Analysis Rule works even in Cases where there is only 1 step defined in the sequence. In Cases with a single step, Pimsoft suggests the user configures the Model Analysis directly with the Analysis Rule that is defined in the unique step. In other words do not use the Sequential Analysis when executing only one analysis.
